In 2019, relentless in its commitment of surgically responding to the emergency needs of its constituents, the LGU has conceptualized e-Saklolo –a mobile application to assist and aid in the emergency needs of its constituents by providing on-time response to crimes, vehicular accidents and other hazards.

With all of these, the name ‘e-Saklolo’ originated from the Filipino word “Saklolo” which means “help”. The “e” on the other hand is an indication that the transmission of data inside the application is done over an electronic network, primarily the internet. The name of the application is easy to recall and something that every Santiagueño and every Filipino can easily remember.
